This week is Anti Social Behaviour week!

Wyedean take ASB very seriously and participate in regular walkabouts with the police in our neighbourhoods, to ensure that our tenants do not have any worries or ASB issues. Please come and say hi if you see us about.

To support ASB week we will be holding a drop in this coming Friday at our offices in Coleford, if you have any questions or worries regarding ASB, please drop in and speak to Charmaine.
We are open from 9am-5pm.

According to Resolve -
At least half of victims and witnesses do not report ASB. In response to our most recent YouGov survey, 57% of victims and witnesses said that they did not report the ASB to anybody.

People don’t report ASB for a number of reasons, but 40% of those who didn’t previously report ASB said that they would be more likely to report future ASB if they received clear communication about how to make a report. Dishearteningly, in the past year, just 7% of people have noticed information about what to do if you experience ASB.

You can report ASB a number of ways to us -

Through our website https://wyedean.org/my-home/report-a-problem-in-your-neighbourhood/

Through our App

By telephone - 01594 838000.

Or drop in to see us.

The best thing to do in the hot weather is stay out of the direct sun, especially during the hottest part of the day, between 11am and 3pm, as UV rays are strongest during these hours.

• If you’re going out in the hot weather, walk in the shade, apply sunscreen, wear a hat, sunglasses and light, loose-fitting, light-coloured clothes

• Apply sunscreen frequently of at least SPF 30 and 4 or 5 star ultraviolet A (UVA) protection regularly to exposed skin

• Drink plenty of fluids and avoid excess alcohol during the hot weather

• Avoid extreme physical exertion during the hot weather. If you can’t avoid strenuous outdoor activity, keep it for cooler parts of the day such as early morning or evening
